Hospital Contract Termination with Adventist HealthCare

At RBHS, we work with the Australian Health Service Alliance (AHSA) to have more bargaining power with hospitals and doctors. It also means that the experts get to negotiate the hospital contracts for us and 23 other health funds so that the costs that we and you ultimately pay for hospital admissions (through your premiums) are as competitive as possible.

Regrettably, we have not reached an agreement with Adventist HealthCare on the terms and conditions that we believe are fair charges, and to avoid pressure on the current level of your health fund contributions.

Adventist HealthCare operates Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga and San Day Surgery in Hornsby. These hospitals provide a range of medical, surgical and rehabilitation services.

Adventist HealthCare has taken the decision to terminate our agreement effective from 7th February 2022

RBHS is committed to providing members with private hospital options that represent the highest quality and best value. To meet this commitment to you, RBHS has agreements with over 540 private hospitals across Australia.

If you require treatment at these hospitals, please contact us on 1800 027 299 and we will discuss your options.
