Accessibility

The RBHS has taken steps to make this website more accessible to it's members and visitors.

Font Resizing

The A- and A+ buttons in the header area allow for dynamically increasing and decreasing the font size used across most of the site. From the default font size visitors can increase the font size up to 5 steps using the A+ button, and the A- button is provided to resize it back down again. These preferences are stored in most browsers using cookies, so that the preferred font size will be used across all pages of the site during a browsing session.

Not all areas of the website are suitable for dynamic font resizing, in which case visitors may like to try page zooming in their browser.

Page Zooming

Most modern browsers include controls for page zoom, which increases the size of all elements on a page including the text, images, forms and other visual elements, keeping the same proportions and positioning of these elements.

On Windows computers, hold the Control (Ctrl) key while pressing the plus (+) key to zoom in, the minus (-) key to zoom out, or the zero (0) key to reset to the default zoom level in your browser. If your mouse has a scroll wheel you may also be able to hold Ctrl while scrolling to zoom in and out. You browser may also include menu items to zoom in and out under the Tools or View menus.

On Mac computers, hold the Command () key while pressing the plus (+) key to zoom in, the minus (-) key to zoom out, or the zero (0) key to reset to the default zoom level in your browser.  If you have a trackpad or your mouse has a scroll wheel you may also be able to hold Command while scrolling to zoom in and out. You browser may also include menu items to zoom in and out under the Tools or View menus.
